Jeremy Allison's already fixed it. You need to grab the latest CVS.
MSFT are being bastards again, but they're ineffective bastards.

It's about as intuitive as "setserial" to get the modem working under Linux.

The only time I had to use setserial on a modem was with a isapnp one.
Specifically, one that didn't work at all with NT ;-)

Locktivation. I like it. But is a copyright enough? You should be able
to get this through the USPTO.
"... whereby applicant submits for patent review and approval a process to
bilk customers of ever increasing revenues by technologically denying them
egress from a specific software application marketed solely by
applicant."
If you could get this patented, you'd own Microsoft.

Actually no, but I see your point. I sold the old system to a friend of a
friend. I actually formatted the drive on the Presario and put the original
software backup on the system - via Compaq's restore disk which took some
time. However I did this more for my own protection, rather than any other
reason. However, I see that MS cannot necessary verify that. Luckly I do
know how to format a hard drive, but others may not.

I just bought "A Practical Guide to Linux" by Mark Sobell. I've gone
through three chapters, and I am starting to get the hang of the command
line. Reminds me of the DOS days.

Yeah, I read that recently in a book called Hardrive. I believe it had to
do with piracy on the Asian market???

Note that the underscore character is missing from the character set,
although it is a valid character for identifiers in certain languages
(e.g. C). The DECUS C compiler for the PDP-11 was replacing it by the
'.' character in the generated code (the object files used RADIX50 to
store the symbols).

I didn't even think to limit it to COLA postings. When I do that (yet
another option in Google's advanced search) , the count drops to 1220. But
you're still a busy guy; I've only got 125, wide open on the options.
I was gonna do the same for Flatfish, but with all the aliases I'd be
stuck here for the rest of the week adding up the totals. And then there

So, there is a bug in the dll, problem found.

They don't. MsXml is free.

Then put this in a compiled COM and call it.
The point is that you might be able to find a workaround.

gotta love this guys' consistancy... the rest o the world knows SP6a is the
most stable version of NT4 on the planet and, of course, his experiences has
him stuck years back with SP4 - no matter, really, NT4sp4 is still stable
enough to do the job. But of course he won't admit that either...

Mine's a Actiontec PCI w/call waiting. I don't know what it's deal is but I
need to type in setserial......
It also has a habit of ringing like someone is calling (but no one EVER
calls that line), at random every few hours or so. I have no idea why.
