But maybe he believes in his country enough to want to change it. One of
the reasons that America's inner cities decayed so much is that people
who became successful left them instead of staying behind to try and
make them better for other people.
Not everyone is apathetic you know.

He signed the pact because the western allies didn't have the balls to
come to the party, so to speak, and help the Soviets fight the German
advance onto Poland. Also, Stalin was trying to on one hand rebuild the
economy, through the 3 year and 5 year plan and on the other hand,
during that time, due to the forced collectivisation of farming land,
this resulted in a decrease in grain production, an as a result of that
millions died, and the armed forces were ready to revolt.
Also, if one were to look at the German armed forces, the reason why
they were so successful was because there was cohesion between the
different coponents, Army, Navy and Airforce. It was not until Germany
was outnumbered that they started to collapse. So in hinesight, Germany
was a very, very powerful military force when compared to who they went
up against in terms of numbers and equipment.
German science also allowed them to continue by turning coal into oil
and rubber, both required by the Airforce, Military and Navy. Thus, even
with a shortage of oil around the world, they had the technology to
utilise their resources to the maximum potential.

That would explain your constant cross-posting, troll-boy. Yes,
"Windownista" is really all that it takes to describe your kind.

No, they have Ballmer to say "Linux is a cancer" in place of that. Oh,
an Microsoft "press-pass". Probably the largest set of lies ever
compiled in one place. It is a wonder the whole thing doesn't become a
giant black hole of corporate bullshit, slowly sucking the entire
Internet, and eventually all of man's knowledge, into it.
Oh, that's right. I forgot. It is.

Hardly; they loOoooO-ooo-OOO-oooOove it! Whey else take such pains
ridiculing people who like Linux, and flame Windownistas when they post
to COLA.

Yes, that is the lie you keep telling yourself, and anyone else, when
the question of just why you hate Linux advocates comes up. Just claim
you are trying to stop them from lying. Lord knows, we can't have
people saying something is better than Windows. That would ruin the
economy, wouldn't it?
>Windows once in awhile. They have nothing to prove because they
Well, because they have nothing to prove. They just prefer Linux to
Windows. Sure, advocates would like you to prove to yourself that their
opinion is sound, but, well, I don't think anyone cares if you think
Linux is better than Windows, Chad. You know I spank your trolling
behind on a routine basis just for thinking Windows is better than
Linux, but most of the Penguinistas, as you call them, are just happy
using an alternative. For some reason, that bothers you.

Put it on press-pass, Chad. You are just ridiculously full of shit.
:-D
Windows users just want to use what's right. That explains why Linux is
a cancer, I guess. Obviously, if it is a cancer, it can't be right.
Sounds more like Windownistas just want everyone to use Windows.
Guffaw.

Guffaw. The fact is, Microsoft is scared shitless, and knows that Linux
will be the death of them if they can't manipulate the market enough.
Tough to compete against the anti-competitive, ain't it?
Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha. First, it was the Halloween Documents. Then MS
starts spreading FUD about open source. Now "Linux is a cancer."
Maybe I was mistaken. Maybe the market would have destroyed Microsoft
on its own, using GNU/Linux. But I still don't think it would have
happened had MS's monopolization not been in the public eye. Notice how
even with concrete evidence of felonious conduct, the public is merely
'a bit skeptical about their business practices.' And note how, even
with a free price tag and superior technology, the public sees the
monopoly as 'a stabilizing influence' rather than an application barrier
to prevent competition.
But both together, well, that's a one-two punch. No wonder MS is
running scared, and Chad Trollboy is riffing for all he's worth.

Bullshit. That's just the last ditch effort of an extremist to tar the
moderate with an ad hominem attack.
Being an extremist on either side is easy. It is refusing to "choose
sides" that takes courage. Be your own man.

Apple did this? Was this, like, Apple II or something? It certainly
sounds like some typical 'copy protection' stories from way back. It
can hardly be anti-competitive when you have competitors and they do it,
too. I remember that defeating copy protection on the C64 was a whole
industry and a major hobby for many C64 owners. They kept trying new
tricks, and we kept merrily figuring out how to crack them.
Apple has always had a great balance between compatibility and
proprietary value-add, I think. Hardly anybody makes non-PC
microcomputers these days, but Apple is still in business. Very
competitive, obviously, regardless of how many corporate myths and urban
legends and naive teleologies employed by armchair CEOs to claim
otherwise.
