I wouldn't think it's an ELF issue- I know that aboot just loads
stuff - heck, the NetBSD 2nd stage boot loader can load vmlinux- The
problem is that as soon as it says "jumping to bootstrap code" it
halts..... (let me know if these  questions are getting tedious- I can
then go and try and figure it all out w/o bugging you...)... At any rate,
the same disk boots fine on the alphaPC164 and a NoName..
