DS-20's and DP-264 systems work fine with linux afaik, I have a DS-10
on order.

About a factor of 3-4 in memory bandwidth (stream) and fp (specfp95).

DS-10's go for $3500 (entry level), and dp-264's go for $14k (dual cpu,
512 mb ram, 9gb u2w). Not what I'd call a giant leap in price.
