Hi,
What is necessary to implement scatter/gather dma on the alpha
(ruffian)? Where can I found out more information on scatter/gather?
I've heard that it would allow a card which can only implements
the first 30 bits of addressing to use DMA. Is this true? What is the
best method for me to use to get the card to do DMA? I'm not afraid to do
programming to get it to work, though I must admit to normal human
laziness and would prefer the easiest way to do it so long as it is a
valid (i.e. stable & efficient) method. Thank you very much.
