Everyone has been very helpful. Thank-you. It does not appear that Linux
runs well,
if at all, with the TurboChannel bus used in the DEC 3000 machines. I have
seen a
lot of people mention *BSD, which seems to be the next alternative. What
Alpha
machines would make an inexpensive Linux server? I am more concerned with
cost
than power since I want a machine to test apps on.
