Subject: rat v0.2 - recipe analysis tool
Date: Sun,  2 May 1999 11:20:24 GMT

=====BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE=====

RAT (Recipe Analysis Tool) takes a text file containing a recipe and
produces a summary of the nutritional content using the US Dept of
Agriculture's database.

The prgram is fairly basic, but it handles over 50 different nutrients and
can output the summary in text or LaTeX format.

Grams and kilograms are supported but otherwise it's stuck with the old
units.

Subject: virt-0.0.1 - a terminal emulator generator

=====BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE=====

virt -- a terminal emulator generator
http://www.dallasnw.quik.com/slsmith/virt

virt produces a partial terminal emulator (in C) based
 on a description in the termcap database.

virt could be used to :
            produce a full-fledged terminal emulator,
            add support for more than vt100 to "screen",
            view a telnet session with a packet sniffer.

A program using virt (and dl) could reconfigure itself to
 support any terminal in the termcap/terminfo database.

virt is very new and requires some work.
virt requires gcc, termcap, ncurses, and flex.
