Note that mirror doesn't preserve file permissions. Hence the CD that
I burnt from our OpenLinux Lite mirror didn't work, coz the executables
weren't :-( Maybe it's just the way we've got mirror set up here. If
anyone can get mirror to preserve permissions, please let me know!

You might also want to take a look at GNU wget. There was a new version
release in the last few days. It's available on all GNU mirrors (e.g.,
for me in the UK, ftp://sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk/pub/gnu)
