I have seen this before. It has nothing to do with XDM or Fvwm95. I
haven't been able to pin down exactly what was causing this but I
suspect some weirdness in Xaw. I saw this when I used Xaw3d. I use
vanilla Xaw now and haven't seen this. I have also seen this on a
Solaris box, but Xaw3d was never used.
