I've just built gnome-0.3 and in the process was required to build gtk-1.1.
As a side effect I also upgrade imlib components.

Now my GIMP won't run with the newer image libraries and I can't recompile
it with the newer gtk version. I still have gtk-1.0.5 installed which was what
I originially compiled GIMP with but I can't get the compilation process to
use the older library version.

I tried changing the libgtk.so link to point back to the older version of
libgtk but there appear to be other problems associated with gtk-config.

Can someone tell me how I can get GIMP to compile now without installing an
old gtk version over the top of my new one?

TIA

Rich
