Color changes

  I've just upgraded to XF86-3.3.3.1. Now some of my desktop colors are screwed
up (256 col display). The one that is really annoying is the background color
used by the Tk widgets. It used to be a mid/light grey, now it's a sort of
cream/ yellow. Very hard on the eyes.
  What changed and how do I get it back?
