Try :
ps -ef | more
That will list all the processes on the system, rather than just those you
own.
If you are looking specifically for netscape procs, you could use:
ps -ef | grep netscape
You **could** if you are really having problems try creating another user,
logging in as them and running netscape. If that all works, then id means
there is definitely something worn with the netscape settings for the
problem user account, in ~/.netscape.
If it still doesn't work, the problem is probably with the netscape binaries or
something conflicting. Try reinstalling netscape.
