Well, to each his/her own.

   I'm giving kmail a try - it seems to be close to what I want. But I have
two problems with it, and maybe you can help me.
   First, how do you convince it to keep the changes to the settings? I
change the size of the SUBJECT column, and move the SENDER to after SUBJECT.
Then, it seems every time I launch it, I have to do it again. Sometimes the
positions are simply reversed, and my big column is now SUBJECT, etc. Also,
I haven't seen how to change the format of the date.
   Second, is there an "address book" available, to keep common email
addresses?
