I'm trying to get a Assabet board (phase 5) to run Linux; the board has 32 MB DRAM. I have switch 3 and 8 set to ON in switchpak 2 on the daughter board. I'm using kernal 2.4.0-test2-1.2.3-2 from the hard hat linux people. Using angelboot (Ver 1.10) to download. I've tried the Brutus ramdisk.gz and the ramdisk_ks.gz from Wearablegroup.org people. But neither of them work for me. Angelboot seems to download fine, I see Tux on the screen and there is a flashing "cursor" under him. Minicom comes up but just sits there. No login prompt, no nothing. Resetting the board gets me a line on minicom that says angel boot is present but still just sits there. I've tried minicom configured for the same port angelboot uses, and for a serial port that is connected to UART3 of the daughter board. Results are the same each time. No doubt something simple but currently I'm chasing my tail in ever decreasing circles. Any help appreciated Thanks. john _______________________________________________ http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/linux-arm Please visit the above address for information on this list.
