patches for egcs mainline

For those who like to live on the edge I've made a patch containing the bits 
of arm-linux support that haven't yet made it into the EGCS sources.  You can 
get it at <ftp://ftp.netwinder.org/users/p/philb/egcs-990331-diff.gz>.

It would be nice to have more people testing this so that we can work the bugs 
out before the egcs 1.2 release.
