I'm running Hform v2.48 under RO3.7... to try and reduce my filecore to
make room for an ARM Linux partition...

I've come across 2 questions that Hform asks which AFAICT are not
mentioned in either the RO manuals or the ARM Linux docs...

First is: Drive parameter init flag? 1

...which it wants to default to 1. I have no idea what this is or whether
this is a reasonable default.

Second is: Parking cylinder? 6231

...which is confusing because I thought all hard drives auto parked
anyway. The two examples I've seen set this to be the penultimate cylinder
of a fully formatted filecore drive.

If I'm reducing the number of cylinders of the filecore partition to, say,
1900... should I set the parking cylinder to 1899 (the middle of the
disk!) or is it a physical cylinder figure which will still make sense (if
left at 6231) even if I reduce the logical total number to 1900.

(The hard drive in question is a Quantum Fireball-TM3200A 3Gb.
Current shape: 6232 Cyl, 16 Hds, 63 Scts/trk)

Any advice, much appretiated.

Thanks.
