I ever met this before. Nicolas's brutus-test can work
under redhat6.1 ( I haven't try it under rehat6.0).
But it showed core dump under mandrake linux 5.3( the
kernel version is about 2.0.36,sorry I cannot be
exactly sure about this version number ). I guess you
are  using  redhat5.2 , so it is just a version
problem.

I also met this before. Though I have overcomed it , I
am not clear about the reason. It seems that your tool
chain was not set up correctly, so you got a not
perfect kernel image. I can be sure that this is 
related with neither your ramdisk image nor angelboot
and just related with your tool chain and kernel
version . When you get through it and get a clear
answer, could you share it with me.
