[linux-audio-dev] LADSPA overview?

Hello.  Could someone enlighten me about the LADSPA architecture?  

1. Can multiple hosts connect to a plugin?
2. Can a host be a plugin (support the LADSPA interface)

I guess the real question is does LADSPA do ipc?
