Currently an app cannot do it at software level. The level 1 support just needs to be documented. In future, what levels are supported will be indicated by fields in the .desktop files. Until then users are supposed to know whether given app supports given level and indicate it when they start the app. This is done by a radio button selection in the gladish app start dialog. The dialog can be seen in the ladish-0.2 demonstration video at 0:52: http://www.vimeo.com/8530340 -- Nedko Arnaudov <GnuPG KeyID: DE1716B0>
