Is the spec open enough to create n-channel masters? Are there consumer players in existence with more than two channels out? (and here I do not mean the 5:1 audio from DVD movies.)
As DVD-A was invented for PCM and multi-channel, DVD-A players can play more than 2 channels. Most DVD-V players cannot play more than 2 PCM channels. Question is: how many DVD players support DVD-Audio?
