Then they are probably messages which were posted to this list, rather
than to you personally. As this is an unmoderated list, there is no
way to prevent people from posting spam to it.

Spam does get posted to this list occasionally. There isn't any
solution other than unsubscribing.
More seriously, there is nothing to stop someone from subscribing to
this list in order to harvest the email addresses of people who post
to it. The only way to prevent that is to never post to mailing lists
using your correct email address.
