After noticing the headers of quite a few spams that came through on this
list, it appears that the actual address of the mailing list is the one
that's been added to spammers lists.  The mails end up in our accounts,
yes, but it's the list's address that's been compromised.  Of course, if
the list was set so that only people subscribed to it could post to it,
this would save a few headaches (and junk mail), but I don't recall if I
actually sent a mail to the list maintainer and requested this or not, so
I can't complain too much :>
