OK, I should have said `interactive applications'. Everything else
gets run in a shell-mode buffer, or with M-!, M-x grep, M-x compile
etc.

Except that none of the versions which I've seen recognise the cursor
keys.

I used to use it before I discovered XEmacs. Ironically, the reason
why I switched to XEmacs was w3-mode, which is one of the packages
which I don't use that much (I use it for reading documentation which
is in HTML format, but not for on-line browsing).

I actually use some of XEmacs' extra features (e.g. inline images in
MIME-email and HTML).
