Greetings,

Recently I have begun interning in a company's Information Services
department. The programming staff is very hung up on using Visual Basic
5.0 for their primary programming langauge. I myself have taken several
classes on C, and prefer it for the obvious reasons. In my quest to move
beyond Linux/UNIX programming, I have been wondering if I could use GNU GCC
to create the DLLs that Visual Basic could understand. My hope is that I'd
be able to create the majority of my programs in C, and then create an
interface in VB. Is gcc capable of creating the windows DLL files? Does
anyone know where to find the kind of information I'm looking for?

Thanks In Advance,
James C. Lewis
