kernel update...

    Hi,
Thanks for all of you who answered me, that was fast and helpful !!!
I'm trying to download kernel version 2.1.117 to access a fat 32
partition. I'm running, for the moment, RH linux 5.0 w/ kernel 2.0.32.
Can I update directly to 2.1.117 or should i first download something
else ?
Once downloaded, how do I actually update ? what is the command ?
