a easy question...
I�m using RH 4.2 and i download rpm-2.5.1.rpm to upgrade rpm
version from 2.3.11 to 2.5.1. I have installed with rpm -U
rpm-2.5.1.rpm. Well, it create a directory named "redhat" and subdirs
"BUILD", RPMS", "SOURCES","SPECS","SRPMS". and a file:
"rpm-2.5.1.tar.gz" in "SOURCE" dir . I uncompress it
with "tar -xvpzf ..." and it create subdir �rpm-2.5.1�. It subdir have a
lot of files including �README� files. But any file tell me about How to
compile and install �rpm�. I prove using �make�, but i would like to
know the correct sintaxis to install this package. Can Somebody help me?
