Hello,
Here is the latest after searching the web/newsgroups, etc. I ran
in.telnetd via tcpd and recieved no errors. I then killed this process. I
checked inetd.conf and restarted inetd. Then I tried to telnet from the
terminal. It said the remote host or gateway was not responding. I then
looked at the system logs and it said nothing about starting telnetd or
refusing connections or anything else of that nature. I checked my
hosts.deny and hosts.allow files. If I remember correctly allow overides
deny. deny says to deny all and allow says to allow the terminal and
localhost. This is everything I've thought of so far. Have I missed
anything? Help please!

Joseph
