As you can see what fdisk says:
'You problably forgot configure a SCSI controller'

What SCSI controller you have? Does Linux have a support for it? Does Red Hat /
Slackware installation disks have support for it?

Please send some technical information about SCSI-controller.

I had same kind of problems couple months ago when I bought new IBM Netfinity
3500 server (with Adaptec AIC-7895). First I tried RedHat 5.0 with no success.
Then SuSe 5.1, same result. Then I noticed that kernel doesn't report anything
about SCSI controller. So I toke just released RHL 5.1 and everything went just
fine.
