I realize thi is a newbie question, but please, bear with me.
I have Red Hat Linux 5.0 with kernel 2.0.31and XFree86 3.3.1. I must
upgrade XFree86 to the 3.3.2 version because it's the only one that
supports my Matrox Millenium II AGP. What's the best way to do that ?
Should I first uninstall the older version with rpm -e [XFreeFile] and then
install my new version with rpm -i [XFreeFile]? The only files I have from
the new version are the XFree86-3.3.2.3-23.i386.rpm,
XFree86-SVGA-3.3.2.3-23.i386.rpm and the XFree86-VGA16-3.3.2.3-23.i386.rpm.

Thanks in advance
