Hi All,
As for an Office Suite, if you are mainly interested in a Word Processor I would
look at Corell's WordPerfect 7 or 8 for Linux. I beleive the cost is under $100
for the full up version on CD, less for a down load and under $50 for a
educational version (the only difference is price).

I found Red Hat 5.1. very easy to set up. Perhaps the best for novices.

I am using Star Office. I haven't tried Applixware, yet. As far as I know
Applixware is not free. I think Star Office is pretty good. Haven't found
anything, that's missing compared to MS Worst, yet. But in a way it's always a
question what you really need...
