Hello,
My thanks to all who have been helping me so far, your advice has helped
me solve many problems. I've got my system configured, I've got
everything working just how I'd like it. I've got a few user's on my
system, including my own personal account, not root. I'd like to start
using it. What I'd like is readonly access to some parts of my hd, I need
to know how to get and/add to my path. I'd also like to know the best way
of doing this, basically, me as me, not root, I want to be able to read
almost everything, but not mess anything up, will I have to make a new
group for that or change my group?
My second question involves dial-in. I've got a few who want to access
stuff off my system. I know about the dial-in lines in /etc/inittab,
however, when I uncomment one, and I get a call, yah the modem answers,
but when th e user logs out the modem will not hang up.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks.
Dave.
