Hello, all: I've been tasked to set up an FTP site at the lab, and we're doing it on one of the Linux boes, running RH6, kernel 2.2.5-15. I note in linuxconf that there's a setup for a virtual FTP host. I'm assuming (with appropriate caveats) that this will allow the box to respond to an alterative address as that system, and allow FTP users to log in and get to the appropriate place. The on-line docs say "not written yet" or thereabouts. Does anyone have a brief synopsis of what's needed and which assumptions I've made that are patently false?
