Your hard drive may have too many cylinders. How large is your hard drive <
Lol < ? you may want to look in your BIOS for different modes for your hard
drive... like LBA mode and block mode .. play with these and see if it
works. if it doesnt you can make a lilo boot disk and just leave it in your
floppy drive :) It will boot all your stuff the same.

Hi

I'm having problems installing LILO on the MBR.
I 've installed LILO during the installation of Linux. I 've selected to
installed it in the MBR with 30 secs to wait.
I have the /dev/hda2 as a Linux partition and /dev/hda1 a DOS partition.

When I start the machine it says:   " LI_ "  and doesn't boot.
I try with Shift, Ctrl, or Tab keys but nothing apperas.

what should I do?
