Thanks again.
Status:
With my poor knowledge in partitioning/formatting taken under consideration, I
have decided to play around with both Win98/DOS and Linux fdisk and the problem
persists as follow:
- When partionned under widows (1 extended containing ( 4 logical)), formatted
as FAT32, it cant be read by cfdisk ....
- When partitioned under Linux, (1 extended containing ( 4 logical)), one of the
drive can't be used under Windows ....

Is there any better tools available for Windows or Linux that ease disk
management/partitioning and formating ?
My biggest problem I guess is related to formating more than partition
.............

My goal is configuring this new HD with the less painful solution and make it
read/write enabled for Linux AND Win98.
That's all. ( yes ........... I am fed up !)

And here is my need:
13 Gig splitted as follow:
6 Gigs + 3 Gigs + 3.3 Gigs + 128Meg (linux swap) + 500Megs(windows swap)

Thanks for your support ...............
