raid question-
anyone done it in linux? what's the advantage of using a hardware raid
controller instead of software controller?
we have three 4.3gb scsi hard disks and i am going to add a fourth one
(9gb scsi). can this combined disk space of 21.9 gb be divided into
three so that i have roughly 7gb per raid mirror? can a raid drive span
across physical drives?
any good url's or howto pages? thanks for any tips.
