Oh! well...I wasn't actually proposing that we do radio announcements. I
only cut and pasted a link from /. where they were talking about what
various LUGs were doing. We can come up with ideas within our reach.

It's easy to make to-do lists. The difficult part is the DO loop! :-)
It will be a good idea though to compile a list of ideas and at some point
sort them according to priority, feasibility, resource availability
(including volunteers).
I believe the next LUG meet we will need to focus on finalising the draft
Constitution and getting the papers ready for submission. List of specific
activities to take up can be fleshed out later. At this stage we need to
float a few ideas so that we develop some more clarity on why we are
becoming a society - things that need to be reflected in our aims and objects.
