but why waste all yr time, when mandrake 7.0 comes with
apache/mod_perl/mod_php3 and the php3 module includes the mysql module too,
so why try all this... just use gnorpm under mandrake 7.0 and it shud
work....
in my case i just installed mandrake 7.0 with almost everything, and things
worked..... i am running both mandrake 7.0 and rh6.2 an php3 works fine with
both.... mysql that comes with mandrake 7.0 is quite old and i think that u
will be better installing the version of mysql that came with the pcq rh6.1
cd it is much newer, though it is not the gpl version that u get with
mandrake....
