Hi,
I am quite new to linux (as usual?!) and i was trying out samba.
I got through almost the major chunk of
passwords/browsing/readable/writeable..etc. but am not able to log onto the
samba server . ie. whenever i log off, the win9x machine says that the
domain server was not found, where the same machine later shows all the
shares/servers (after a private non-authenticated login..) using network
neighbourhood or windows explorer.
All the tests given in the "domain.txt" are working perfectly, but login
still doesnt seem to be working...
please, can anyone tell me where could i have gone wrong?
