Thanx a lot Naresh, i had selected proper logon instead of 'quick'. That
made it work fine.

One question that came up while downloading files in linux. For win98
environment there is a adware program named flashget which does a big
speed-up work when downloading files. It simultaneously downloades upto 8
parts of the same file. (doubles/triples the download speeds!!).
Is there a software in linux which does the same?

thanx
