Dear Glenn

You can access anything that is shared by NT macine on
a Linux machine using the command
mount -t smbfs -o username=administrator //<NetBIOS
name of Server/<Share name> <mount point>
You can change the username suitably. Besides It will
prompt you for a password for the user.

There a host of things you can do on Samba. Read the
documentation tree of Samba for more details:
/usr/doc/samba-*
