tell me how you have partionned your hard disk. What is the size of your
linux partition? Basically lilo will not work for partitions having more
than >1023 that cylinders. If you have installed LILO in your MBR which is
what you seem to have done then the first partion should not be larger than
8GB(approx). The solution is to create a small boot partition <8GB.
