For goodness sake, don't use mutt do fetch mails from POP/IMAP
servers. I know it is good at it., but still use fetchmail for all the
fetching part, and let mutt worry only about Maildirs/Mailboxes.
Fetchmail is much too flexible for any other mail client on this
planet.
