I posted my problem a few weeks ago but noone responded at all. The problem is that every few days or so, dctrl will lock up. Sometimes, a few to 30 minutes can go by and it will seem to spontaneously unlock. Very frustrating. One person told me that his used to do that till he did something to fix it but he doesn't seem to remember what he did to fix it. It's REALLY annoying. (You have to kill diald and dctrl and restart, and sometimes that doesn't even fix it.) Anyways, I have one more piece of info to add. It happened today and I decided to just shut the modem off. (Luckily it's external.) At the moment that the modem was shut off, dctrl was able to display the last picked submenu before locking up again. I tried cycling the modem to see if that would help it progress, but it didn't get a reaction. Is this additional tidbit of any more help in solving the problem? -Time flies like the wind.
