You won't need IPX for Samba as Samba uses the TCP/IP protocol only.
However, if you use ncpfs or mars-nwe you do need IPX.
Anyway, the proper alias value os 'off' like in
alias net-pf-5 off
If you just ignore the message it will work find, too.
