I use netscape and experience this problem when either closing the browser
or sometimes when moving from a remote (internet) page to a locally hosted
page (on our small intranet) after the link has timed out and disconnected.
AFAIK its just netscape doing this and not a configuration issue with the
linux machine. I don't suppose there's anything that can be done that
wouldn't be more inconvenient than this problem.
Ooh - maybe I should mention that I'm using netscape on my WinNT desktop
machine and not on the linux box itsself.
I assume that netscape behaving in this way something to do with persistent
HTTP connections ?? correct me if i'm wrong.
