If you are running sendmail that could be what is causing the link to come
up. I suggest running the latest version of sendmail and make sure that
you don't have a bunch of undeliverables in the mqueue that sendmail is
continuously trying to deliver. I would just not run sendmail at all and
see it stops dialing all the time. If that works than troubleshoot your
sendmail problems. If you are running RedHat run ntsysv and deselect
sendmail.
