I suppose this to be an interesting question. I thought anz gettydemon would lock the device (it has to watch all the time whats going on!) So I think it should not be possible to use such a getty along with diald. Buy a cheap 14400er modem for use with the faxgetty, enhance your PC with another tty-device and get ready for diald with your new modem. faxing doesnt need the power of a 56k modem I think.
