Hi all! I have finally got my ISDN line (Internal card) to go up and down using diald using the scripts provided by Cliff Steele. Fully recommend going to his site http://www.ursusmaj.demon.co.uk/ for more details. I still have a problem. After diald brings the line up. The line is brought down after 120 sec. with the following message. May 14 07:36:14 net-mail pppd[2528]: Remote message: May 14 07:36:14 net-mail pppd[2528]: bundle, he: 0 we: 0 May 14 07:36:14 net-mail pppd[2528]: local IP address 194.170.125.175 May 14 07:36:14 net-mail pppd[2528]: remote IP address 194.170.125.190 May 14 07:38:11 net-mail diald[1898]: Failed to received first packet within 120 seconds. I am continuously using the line and even so the line breaks. Must be something to do with the setting up of the slip link when the line goes up. Can anybody tell me how this can be solved. Thanks in advance. Bye...Ian - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-diald" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
