Are there any windowz boxes on your network? It could be netbios
causing your link to come up. You may need to following to prevent it
from coming up:
# This goes into your filter rules.
ignore udp udp.source=udp.netbios-ns,udp.dest=udp.netbios-ns
# Make sure something like this is in your /etc/services file:
netbios-ns 137/tcp nbns
netbios-ns 137/udp nbns
netbios-dgm 138/tcp nbdgm
netbios-dgm 138/udp nbdgm
netbios-ssn 139/tcp nbssn
