Daemon now declarated in /usr/include/unistd.h. This is other,
different thing but it conflicting with 'int daemon' in diald source.
Thare are some patches, but I not tested them. I searched in diald source
and changed 'int daemon' to 'int daemon1'. After this I compiled diald
without any problems and it worked now. This is aboute RedHat 5.1 but I
think that problems on new Debian versions not different. On Debian 1.2 I
test diald-0.14 from Debian distribution, after I change it to diald-0.16
- I compiled it without any problems and conficts.
